Award-Winning Restaurateurs Offer World Travelers a Taste of Houston’s Best Burgers
LaTrelle’s is celebrating the grand opening of a new Hubcap Grill inside Terminal A of Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH). A Houston-based, family-owned and operated company, LaTrelle’s has been instrumental in providing travelers in both IAH and Houston’s William P. Hobby airport with the opportunity to enjoy delicious gourmet favorites from some of the city’s local institutions, such as Pink’s Pizza, Bullritos, and now Hubcap Grill.
Ribbon cuttings and the official grand opening for the new Hubcap Grill were celebrated at the beginning of Thanksgiving week and were attended by Ricky Craig, the Founder of Hubcap Grill, Kenneth James, LaTrelle’s Chief Financial Officer, and Wally James, LaTrelle’s Chief Operating Officer. Although Hubcap Grill is a cult favorite in Houston, it is quickly gaining a global following. Travel + Leisurerecently rated Houston as the top burger city in the nation, and stated that, “Hubcap Grill may just have the Best Burger in America!”
“We are excited about opening a brand new Hubcap Grill this Thanksgiving holiday and can’t wait to introduce more people to the best gourmet burger in Houston,” said Wally James. Alison Cook, a two-time James Beard Award winning restaurant criticrecently declared Hubcap Grill a “hamburger heaven” and said, “It [Hubcap] belongs in a category reserved for the very best restaurants in the city.”

The Hubcap Grill at IAH will be open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and will include a breakfast menu for morning travelers.
