Award-Winning Restaurateurs Provide Approximately 15 Jobs in New Gourmet Coffee Eatery
Dallas/Fort Worth, TX — September 30, 2014 — This Tuesday, LaTrelle’s will celebrate the grand opening of the first Peet’s Coffee & Tea inside Terminal E at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The new location will provide up to 15 jobs for area residents, as well as the world’s freshest gourmet coffee for both travelers and airport employees.
In addition to Peet’s world-renowned coffee and tea, the restaurant will feature fresh pastries and cookies, a wide selection of artisan-crafted sandwiches, healthy snacks and an array of Peet’s mugs and coffee-themed gifts, popular with its loyal following of coffee connoisseurs known as “Peetniks.”
“We opened our first Peet’s at William P. Hobby Airport in Houston back in 2007 and the positive response was immediate and continues to be overwhelming. People are just fanatical about Peet’s Coffee & Tea and I can’t wait to recreate the success we’ve had there at our newest location at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport,” said Wally James, Chief Operating Officer of LaTrelle’s.
“I think the reason why Peet’s is able to dominate the gourmet coffee market everywhere we open one is because the beans are hand-roasted when you order them, not before. The coffee is flown in fresh and then it flies just as quickly out our doors because people recognize it as the best cup of coffee you can get,” said Kenneth James, Chief Financial Officer for LaTrelle’s.
The new Peet’s Coffee & Tea will be open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and the grand opening will include a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by members of LaTrelle’s executive management team.
